Whenever I lead a training or a course on a topic I always feel like that old hair replacement commercial, "I'm not only the owner of X, I'm also a client." The Self Care Mastery Revolution has been whirling a pathway through me. Things are shifting, changing, moving and it's quite intense.

One of the things that has become very clear to me since this series began is that, a la Emerson, self reliance is key to our ability to gracefully shift dynamically in this relentless spiral of evolution. Frequencies are accelerating and nothing is untouched - business, money, security, relationships. Your ability to master your energy is crucial, if not downright essential.

Now is the time to gather your ability to lead and create the 'new.' We're talking new business, new relationship, new money. The 'matter' of exchange has evolved. Have you noticed it? Whether it's social media or joint ventures, our models of success and prosperity are deeply tied to one another. Yet, they require - just like the cheese - for you to stand alone in your ability to spearhead the energy. It requires you to own your responsbility and authority for who you really are.

The rubble of the 'old' lays at your feet. Whether you tune into the media or not, the fear and uncertainty is thick and palpable. Know that this ability - to deeply feel and sense - is a powerful gift. It is a strength that you can master and powerfully engage. Allow yourself to arise as the phoenix, blazing anew with promise and possibility.

I don't know about you but I spent decades in healing and fixing, and mussing and fessing. At some point, after lots of books, tapes, courses, intensives and a journey to India for 'The Last Satsang,' I realized the 'maya' of it all. Then things got really, really funny. But, oh man! did they fall apart!

If you look at the events in your life, the story might give you a reason to stay attached to the stuff that happened and the feelings that you had, yadda, yadda, blah, blah, blah. Or you could jump to another stream of being, create a new story, which opens you up to a new reality. I think you know which one I pick most of the time.

Whether you're a healer, a teacher, a coach, a wellness professional, author, expert ... whatever your gift/offer/expertise ... the time is NOW to be the ANSWER. I powerfully feel this and invite you to explore if this is true for you. In view of that I'm shifting a good amount of my energy towards helping highly aware beings get their work out into the world. What is your essence? What would happen if you stopped making yourself fit the box provided to you by the external world? How would your life be different if you rearranged your work, relationships, activites, or our home, around the qualities of the true YOU?

Essence comes from the Latin word essentia, from the root word esse, to be. It’s the permanent, as contrasted with the accidental element of being. It's the individual, real, or ultimate nature of a thing.
It's the most significant element, quality, or aspect of a thing or person.

I remember the first time I came up with this sense of playing with the energy of essence. I was struggling with feeling incongruent in my work. I was an ‘in the closet’ energy worker, leading the Fully Alive Community at Coachville. The irony of it didn’t escape me.

I was afraid that I would appear wacky and unprofessional. I was afraid that people wouldn’t get it, wouldn’t get me. I was afraid to be vulnerable and let people see who I really was. I sense energy in people and spaces, as easily as I sense the rise and fall of my breath. I know things about you before you say a word. I can sense and move the energy in a room. I can shift the energy of sadness, depression, grief and self doubt into self expression, boundless joy and deep connection. Why was I afraid to let others know me?

My dear friend, Sarah Dolliver from InnerVantage, and I were doing buddy coaching. She asked me, “What do you need to show up as you? How do YOU do it?" All of a sudden something sparked in me . . . I tapped into my breath and did what ‘I do.’ I opened and expanded energetically and felt the sparkle of my essence arise from the catacombs of my being. First came the feelings, sensations and the energies of my essence and slowly the words wrote themselves across the inner canvass of my mind . . .

Cosmically Creative . . .
Ecstatic Movement . . .
Dynamic Partnership . . .
Vibrant Community. . .

As I embodied and fully owned the energy of my essence, I came to trust the uniqueness of my being.
It wasn’t long before I started off my class at Fully Alive with a Breathe, Relax, Expand exercise . . . and you know what, they loved it. Interestingly enough, later on I did the StrengthsFinder 2.0, updated Discover Your Strengths and these were my strengths: Ideation, Achiever, Strategic, Relator, Connection
